Sort of, I've found 2 pretty nice modded cars both 99 Z28s. It's sort of like if it sells it sells, hence the high price. I don't really want to sell it but if someone offered me around 4k for it right now I'd sell and move onto a LS1 Z28. I was thinking about just doing an LS1/T56 swap as I found a donor car with 80k on the drivetrain for 2k. But I'd be getting way in over my head with, not so much the mechanical part but the wiring and other fab stuff. Then I'd have to convert everything over to a manual etc. While I can afford the donor car I couldn't afford to pay someone to install it. Plus I'd want to put headers and a cam before I swapped it.

Biggest issue would be somewhere to do it. I live in a Condo and the car is my DD. You guys have me seriously looking into it though. I may ask if I can borrow my cousins Saturn thats sitting at the moment..

Dont let these guys talk you anything into something to crazy and expensive to do, your a young guy and I know that means you don't have that much liquidated assets to spend in the long run maintaning an engine that was not designed for that car anyways. Your first plan about selling the lt1 and buying the ls1 was actually a good plan to begin with, I would say do that and save yourself lots of time, energy, and unexpected costs.

The swap would be sick for sure and I have the money but yeah.
