no doubt, and your someone that doesnt know how much fbodies are selling for.... FWIW... you wanna know something funny.. a poster in this thread said that he would let his car rot to the ground if he couldnt get 10k for it.. he called me the other day and is planning on selling it for 8.5k... goes to show how the market is..

I dont think Id ever sell my 02 WS6, I can probably sell it for more than I owe but it will be hard to find one in the condition its in(almost mint) that hasnt been beat on. Its bone stock excpet for a K&N filter and a amp/sub in back a previous owner put in. Hard to find a F body that hasnt been molested.
Best thing to do for the OP is to put a price he thinks it should sell for and see what he gets. If he gets it then he can come back and say I told you so, or yes you guys were right.

You can put whatever price tag you want on it! but when dont get any calls cuz the price is to high maybe you will get the picture...its a known fact that F-body's resale is horrible no matter what you might think.

If you can get 15 for a 98 I can get more for my 02, but I wont even if I wanted to sell it. You got lucky and found a buyer willing to pay that much.

I would pay 15 or so for it.
I think you failed to mention the 3k mile ta was a Repoed, Theft recoverd, flooded, Lemon car that someone sold to his friend for so cheap so his wife didnt take it in the devorce.
I just know here in my town 60-70k miles is low milage on an f-body 17k is unheard of.
