private party blue book wouldnt be more than 16 or 17 i bet. people dont realize that no matter how clean, f bodies at their newest are 6 years old. this ones 8, so its def not a collector yet. dont be suprised if you dont get what you want (should) be able to get for it. economy doesnt help either

I paid $5500 for my 80k 98 T/A...that should give you somewhere to start. I wouldn't pay more than 10k for it either way.

I am pretty sure cars hold up better in the south with the seasons...but hey to each their own. Good luck with the sale.

Premiums apply for ultra low mileage examples such as this one. Throw out the price guides and KBB. If you must use a guide, use KBB high retail and add a few grand on top. Ultra-low mileage muscle cars and sports cars get these premiums in every day deals even in bad economic times. If someone is desperate to sell however, a buyer could get real lucky though. There are always exceptions. I've owned these F-bodies for over 12 years now. No such thing as a MINT LS1 for under $10,000 with this kind of mileage unless someone made the deal of a lifetime! Let's not hear about 40k+ cars that are in excellent condition. The OP is asking about an unusual, apparently showroom-like car.

DANG that sucks!! if a 3k mile car is only Worth 10.5 that would make my 65k TA worth about 1,500 and lemons 100k mile car worth about 500. tell you what, I'll have Chris cut you a check for it.

just for the record if I couldn't get 10k out of my 65k mile car I will let it rot to the ground!!!

i told you about that car jason.. the kid actually wrecked it.. he put it in a ditch about 3 nights ago racing some mustang..

i was gonna buy it about 2 or so years ago for 13k, then this kids dad bought it for him about 7-8 months ago for his 16th birthday.... im sure i can get pics of the car, and mileage.. the car was MINT, when i was looking at it it still had plastic on the door panels and the floor from the showroom floor along with EVERY piece of paperwork and booklet, and extra stuff the dealer gave him, like weather stripping and this and that.... and its not say so on the price of the car.. i drove it and know what he was selling it to me for, and i am friends with the kid that bought it, he told me about it the next day, and the price... that car was a STEAL no doubt about it... but it just goes to show that people wont pay what they did a year or two ago for our cars.....i think it sucks too..

guys, this isnt saying that if i was looking for one i wouldnt pay that price in a heart beat.. but we (people on this site) will pay 3k more for one of these cars if its what we are looking for, someone on the street wont.. so thats what they are selling for..

Alright bud, you can name call and pitch a hissy fit all you want! You let me know when you push over 12k for that car. I found a MINT 98 WS6 here in Virginia Beach before I bought my T/A for 10k with 60k and a few tastefull mods. This was over year ago. 17k miles is great! But for a 98 people aren't going to pay that much. When you can get a low mileage '02 for that price or damn near close. You asked a simple question on a public forum and got several SIMPLE replies. Take them and move on like a man or Do some searching online! Now if you find some tool to pawn it off you may get that amount. I would rather pay thousands less for more mileage like mine and mod this hell out of it and still have the exact same car yet faster...
