No car with a salvage title is "CHERRY". A good starting place for it's price is 1/2 book value. 2007 Corvettes are selling in the low $30,000 range so go from there. If you plan to drive it forever it may be worth looking at if it was rebuilt properly but any future resale will be terrible. A salvage title will void factory warranty so you will be on your own for future problems.

My last two Fbodys were and are both Salvage titles and i have never bought nor sold for HALF the book value. A few thousand less sure but not half. Yes future resale sucks and most dealers wont do trades but I dont plan on ever selling my TA so Im not too worried about it. Just because a car has a salvage title doesnt mean its not Cherry either. When i bought my TA it was like brand new and better than most used Ive seen with a brand new complete paint job and when they painted it they were even kind enough to color sand and buff the whole thing so there is no orange peel on it. In many cases a wrecked car can come out in better condition than it was to start out.
I have taken very good care of my car and even won numerous car show awards and noone would ever know it was wrecked before unless I tell them. I and many other people consider my car Cherry. But thats all in opinon I suppose... just my 2 cents
I would start out asking a few thousand below book value that way if gives you room to work.
