That is some nice low mileage. If the car is in truly 'good' condition and has had proper maintenance with no repairs needed (other than the dash) then anything under $9,000 would be a decent buy. Now if it needs tires or brakes or hasn't had fluid changes you need to add those 'needed' items into the equation. Throw out the guide books on these low mileage LS1 cars, especially the one or two owner, stock, low mileage examples.

You'll soon find out. Once you see it, determine all the factors involved, you'll know. DO YOUR HOMEWORK before you buy, not after. With ads, cars are generally overblown with how great they are. If it is, then jump all over it but I've driven hundreds of miles to see low mileage 'cream puffs' that I wouldn't buy for $2,000 because of all the work that was needed and conveniently not mentioned to me beforehand. With your particular car, maybe the $6,000 is an absolute steal but maybe the woman's kids used to puke in the back seat all the time because of the ride. You think that will be mentioned via e/mail or phone? How can anyone know until you see it. Good luck and I hope it works out for you. You didn't mention a Carfax. It's a good tool, doesn't include everything but is helpful. How many owners? If too many, why?

I think it was $25 the last time I bought it. It gave me 12 cars to run. In case this one doesn't work out, you'll have more to run. This was about 1 year ago. I don't know if it has changed since then. Carfax will confirm the ownership of the car, mileage, and if it has a clear title.
