'00 TA WS6...high mileage :(
I'm about to get into the RN program at my college and looks like I cant work and do hospital clinicals. well anyways me and the wife were talking and since we're both college students, the TA might have to go...well I JUST did alot of work to it...I just bought this car 6 months ago
its a '00 WS6 Red w/ black stripes... Paintjob in great shape
Engine has 160k but runs like a champ...If I had to guess, I'd say it's been rebuilt, just too sound, really don't know though.
Has Kooks LT's, SLP LM1 ( 5 months old )
400 miles on new installed monster lvl 3 clutch/flywheel - new pilot and T/O bearing
Tick Perf. rebuilt T-56 lvl 2 with 400 miles ( still warrentied )
Edlebrock TB , Lid w/ K&N, short shifter
800 miles on new tires
TA is not perfect, dash has a crack, needs a tune (runs alil rich), has deadly ABS INOP/brake light, weather stripping needs to be replaced (small leak in rain)...No SES lights...THESE are ALL honest known issues...
I hate to sell it but I will do what I gotta do to make sure we gain this education, very important to us, I will get another LS1 later in life...but its a great driving car and reliable...
Whats it worth?

Yeah, you are right. It isn't worth much at all with that kind of mileage and the issues you describe. I hope you didn't pay too much 6 months ago. I can't imagine anyone buying a car with that kind of mileage unless it is dirt cheap where you can throw some $$ into it without getting hurt. I imagine that is what you did so you will need to find the same type of buyer that you were 6 months ago. Good luck with the sale and your career! This is small potatoes in the grand scheme of things.

Yeah, my buddy just sold his 98 Z for 6k and his had 174,xxx on it. But it was sold to some LS1 happy fresh out of high school grad. Not hard to people of such, just takes a little time. I know college dropouts can be the best, just wait till the end of this up coming semester if you have the time.
As for you working w/ clinicals here's an idea..I know most hospitals allow 2nd year nursing students to work as a Staff CNA, some even in the ICU. Just depends on where you stay and the hospitals regulations on such. But it wont hurt to check with some local hospitals. Preferably the ones you'll be doing your clinicals at and thus you can work around your clinical schedule. Plus the hospital will be able to keep tabs on your progression through the program, they'll like that a lot, and you'll gain legit experience when your thrown out into the workforce, better for your resume and better for your starting pay haha. It'll be hard but eh, you may not have to sell your ride and worry about making the bills.
