ss buy it up thats deff a ss unless he changed the door panel but any gm dealer can give you the build history on it, they will even print one out for you just give them the VIN, that slp sticker means it was altered by them and wu8 code means its an ss so I would deff buy it for 5 or so deff

Bought a 2000 ss yesterday 83k miles after reading your post I looked at my doors and code mine has 2 slp sticker extremely faded as codes wu8,y2y on the back bumper it says hurts shifter equipped not slp. Is this slp y2y a rare thing the Guy I bought it from never mentioned it.
