Need help asap on a trade!!!! Well the guy wants to trade a 2006 2500 HD with 208xxx miles extended cab 4x4....lq9...... Completely stock..... Silver in color and as far as pics looks in pretty good shape..... Going to look at it tomorrow .......... Up for trade is my 2000 Z28 102000 miles auto fully loaded Ralley red not my daily driver sits I'm my garage....Have taken very good care of this car new tires new plugs fully detailed...... Has 373 Motive gears and motive bearing kit with 3" Magnaflow exhaust with 3.5" chrome tips.... And that's it..... Condition is 9/10 a very nice car.....any perspective would help..... The high miles is ??? As far as I know the truck has original ball joints ect..... Original trans fluids ect....
LQ9 isn't a diesel. That's way high mileage for that tank with a gas motor. I personally wouldn't do it by of the transmission wear and that front iFS system is probably pretty rough too.

I assume he swapped to the LQ9? Because all of the HDs came w/ the LQ4.
Personally I wouldn't do it, the 200K would worry me...but honestly that truck is still worth quite a bit more than your car even w/ the 200K.

Depends if its his DD. wont do the job stuck in the driveway with a busted trans.if you could get some cash on top of the trade (around 1000 to freshen up the motor) then maybe it's a good deal
