when is it worth it? Salvage title question
When is it worth it to buy salvage title? Was looking at a camaro:
115,000 MILES
CONVERTIBLE WORKS
AC WORKS
RADIO WORKS
NEW POWER STEERING PUMP
SALVAGE TITTLE DO TO A HIT CURVE NEVER BEEN IN A MAJOR ACCIDENT"
Wonder how low of a price is a good deal for this? The tranny went out on it he says so any info is helpful. I just really want a 98-02 z28/ss for 4-5000 beginning

That's an awfully low budget for a decent F-body. I know you probably want one real bad, but if at all possible, save up a bit more until you get to about $8,000. At that point you can look for cars selling for about $9,500 or even $10,000 in the ads. Those are asking prices, and with your cash in hand you could possibly get one for $8,000. Whichever direction you go, best of luck! I just hate to see you buy a 'money pit' for a car and throw out your hard earned $$ for constant repairs. It wouldn't be a very good ownership experience.
