Should I buy this car????
I have been out of the F-Body game for a while and I was looking to get back into another Camaro. I use to have an 2001 Pewter Z28 and I just found an sweet 2002 Pewter Z28 for sale. Cleanest car I have ever seen. Original owner, 6,500 miles, hardtop, M6, no options. Even has roll up windows. Car seems heavily modded but well taken care of. He is ask $17,000 obo with these mods:
2002 Z-28 Camaro, MTi stage 2 with LS-6 ported and flowed heads, X-2 cam with tuning by MTi (426 hp) rear wheels,(486) at the crank. FLP headers without cats, Corsa exhaust, SLP ram air with 90mm airlid and under ducting plus hood intake with TNT nitrous system with window switch (never used). BMR subframe connectors, lower control arms, adjutable panhard and Wolf racecraft 4 point roll cage intergrated into the stock interior. This car is rarely driven as you can see by the mileage it stays covered and garaged and has never been in the rain. Nitto drag radials,Powder coated ZR-1 wheels and many other upgrades.
How much should I pay for the car? MTi pretty good mods?
Thanks

I would not think twice bout buying that car, roll up windows on that car makes it rare too. A car is only worth as much as I'M willing to pay for it, and yea I'd be willing to pay that much for a rare and beautiful car with that much money and work put into it. Give him a best offer and work from there. I paid under that for my T/A but had more miles and a lot less work done. Good luck, sounds like an awesome rare car

One thing to find out is if most of those 6,500 miles were 'show' miles or drag strip miles. Some people (not many) love to build cars and really don't abuse them. Others build 'em to race 'em. If those miles are track miles I wouldn't pay anything close to what he is asking. If just a 'show' car and YOU love the mods, then that may be a very good price. Do your homework!! Don't assume. Always negotiate too. Good luck!

Ok, the car was built for show and minor track events. It sits in his a/c garage 99% of its life. The car was taken to the track 3 times in its life for the old SLP Track days. N2O was shot once. 75 shot on the street. Never used it since. Going to go check it out tonight. What do yall think??

The nitrous thing scares me, people always say that its "never" been sprayed or its only been sprayed "once" and for some reason I highly doubt that...

Saw the car last night. AMAZING!! Cleanest car I've ever seen. It has a MONSTER of a cam. Car is a beast. The interior still has a new car smell. Got him down to $16,000 but that was it. Im going to check with my credit union and see if they will finance a 2002.

Glad it was the car you thought it was. $16k isn't the end of the world if as nice as you say. The most important thing is that you love it! Now about that loan. That's where you will have some trouble, but best of luck!
