Default Low Mileage LT1 w/4L60

I have a 1995 Corvette LT1 with 18k miles on it, complete with all accessories and swap harness along with a fully rebuilt 4L60e transmission with 10k miles.

What's a fair asking price for this?

Although I will offer I don't watch the C4 Corvette market quite as much as I do other vehicles. Here is my analysis based on price assessments from autotrader, corvetteforum, and craigslist over the last year or so. Without knowing the specifics to your car related to color and/or other options that might be rare this is a generic review.

Like any other performance car there are large variations with a lot of people inflating their prices but those cars then sitting on the market for long durations (not even saying they sell a lot of the times the ads roll off). With that being said I am going to reflect a pricing range that I feel it would sell in. The following are my notes:

1. C4 ZR1s can be had with Mid-Low mileage for under $20000
2. Mid Mileage (30-60K Miles) seem to be holding the $9-$12 range (obviously dependent on the specifics of the car)
3. Low Mileage (10-20k Miles) base model cars seem to have large ranges in pricing from $12-$20
4. Low Low Mileage (<10K Miles) seem to be priced from $18+ but I honestly have not seen a single one sell and keep finding the same ads run

Taking those generalizations and applying to your car which I know limited information about I would say that the $12-$14K price range is where you will make a sale. Most would say start higher but in the related inflating your price is just going to mean sitting on the car for longer.

My suggestion....
1. Start at $14K
2. Make sure you post on corvette based websites as that is where your going to attract the most interest as C4 Vettes have a limited following
3. Adjust price as you deem necessary to your desired schedule for selling but nor do I think this is a $10K car its just a tough market to be in at the moment

I was looking heavily into the '94 -'96 Corvettes over the past winter. Looking for very low mileage, excellent condition, one or two owner examples. I found several around the $15k price point. I even found a 3,000 miles car for $19k that was basically a new car.
My question for you is why was the transmission re-built with those ultra low miles?? That's going to be a huge deduction or negative for buyers such as myself who think abuse, whether real or imagined. As stated above these cars don't fly off the shelves even when in incredible condition. What happened?? Also is your car in excellent condition with clear title and clean Carfax? It certainly affects price as well. More info please if you want accuracy.

But, I found the "whole" car pricing info helpful. Those are a lot cheaper than I would have thought.

Unfortunately, there is not great demand for the LT1 stuff due to the widespread and cheap availability of the Gen III and up truck engines. For example, I just picked up a 5.3 out of a 2004 SSR with the aluminum block and 80k miles for $600 complete. At this point, I would not even consider an LT1 or other SBC when I can get 300 hp 5.3s all day long for a song.

I would put it up for $1500 or so and see what happens. If you are willing to sell them separately, I bet that the transmission will sell much quicker than the engine. Good luck.

Lol well thanks for making me feel like an idiot. Without an understanding of the specifics of what/how the transmission was rebuilt I would offer that $1500 is a pretty common price assessment for LT1/Tranny combo. LT1s have a decent following in the Hot Rod market and I could see you fetching upwards of $2000.
