Buy/Sell a Firebird? Post info here I thought it would be useful to post info on any transactions that we are privvy to, so that we can have a feel for present market conditions.
If you would like to participate, please enter a basic description (year, model, AT or M6, etc, but also where the sale took place, and of course price.
I'll start it off with a car sold Friday at the B-J Auction in Palm Beach:
2002 TA CE , awarded to Ward Burton for winning the Daytona 500. It hammered for $30k. I don't think the miles was given, and sorry,my mind is blanking on the other details, fine example I am !

I saw that CETA on Barret Jackson, an 02 black WS6 sold on there for $15,000, didn't say the mileage. I saw another stock 02 WS6 with 25k miles the other day sale for almost $20,000. I watch a lot of 98-02 Trans Ams sale, from what I've seen the values are going up and up especially with stock low mileage ones

2000 black ws6 lsx I'm a single mom can't get this car going new Virginia speed motor everything is new no dents mint condition new interior. I live in mn. No one understands this car. Who can seriously get this car to start. I have no idea who to call. My ex left me in a mess. It has brand new harness.

From the WIW section, two members looking for cars saw the following sales this past month:
1999 WS6 Red A4 with 40K miles, clean, purchased by forum member Usnfenix in March for $9K.
2002 Black Firehawk M6 with minor paint issues, clean, asking price was $15K and when they called back on it she was sold. Figure $14K-$15K bought it.
It does "seem" like asking prices are a little higher in early 2016. I don't see any signs that the majority of typical LS1's are selling for more money than they did in 2015. Asking and getting are completely different things.
