I have a friend who is settling a family member's estate and they have a black/black interior/black top 97 SS A4 with 77K miles. The car is bone stock and very well cared for. Good tires, brakes, etc and was basically used as their summer toy.

The local car lot got wind of it and told them he'd be willing to buy it for $7500. I've been out of the F-body game for too long....what's this car worth?

I can tell you we thoroughly discussed what a 2000 SS A4 vert with 75K miles was worth over the past month or so (see earlier thread). And that was in the general range of $8K-$10K with $9K being typical if things were needed. I would think a '97 LT1 would have to be worth less. An offer of $7500 might be pretty darn good (from a dealer) unless it's a low production/high option car that is well out of the norm.

^^^ I agree. Maybe $8,000 or $8,500 if immaculate and a buyer with a 'gotta have it' mindset.
