2000 Camaro SS with factory SLP Options, 6 Speed, 98k (will go up) in New York State with 0 rust please don't tell me worth 5k down in Texas or something ik location has to play some kind of part in it's value

Cons:
Front Bumper paint peeling near lights, as seen in pictures, getting progressively worse as it is still daily driven
Small rock chips etc on hood, noticeable once close
Previous owner clearly must have hit a pot hole, 1 dent on rear rim, nothing too bad but it is a flaw

 

It's certainly worth a lot more than $5K even in Texas....lol.

A fairly presentable under 100K mile M6 in black. A lot of people looking for an entry level SS M6 in this color. Other than the head light area paint it seems to be well taken care of....no roof paint bubbling either. Nice interior for that mileage. Tires excellent.

The paint on the front bumper is a lot easier to fix than that on the sail panel. I'd figure the car at $7K. Some might tire kick you at $6.5K. Could see $7.5K too. Really depends on how nice the car is for the mileage. I'd rather pay $8K for a sweet driving and nice shifting 98K mile M6 than $6K for one that is a bit klunky, noisy and with multiple cosmetic issues.

 

I know around here (PAC NW) asking price for that car would be in the $8000-$9000 range all day long,M6 cars in decent shape under 100K miles are hard to find.
I shopped for 6 months before I bought my '01 with 86K miles and felt I did real well at $8000. I added the SLP SS grille and projector headlights myself after I bought her. She was all stock except the lowering springs,wheels and a GMMG chambered catback exhaust. Interior is perfect,paint pretty good,a few small rock chips and pits up front as one would expect and there are a few bubbles in the roof and sail panels . That's going to cost me but I plan to have her fixed at some point.

 

I would ask between $7500-8000. However, I think you'll end up getting offers around 7000 and might have to hold out longer for more. Good luck with the sale.
