Indication on GTO prices
Anybody have an opinion on 2006 GTO's and where they are hanging in price? sub 50k miles is what I'm looking for and 6 speed. Seems to me they are hanging out around 18-22k. I do not know the GTO like the T/A in terms of rareness and production numbers etc... trying to keep my budget under 20k or God save me, just pull the trigger on a 2015-2017 Mustang GT Premium. I know, I know but lets just keep this GTO related if possible

Yeah, they hang around that price, which is completely over priced in my opinion. I saw one with 8K miles for $20k, but it was an automatic. They're not overly rare, but the three year run made them less common than an Fbody.

A 2002 Z06 Vette M6 with 50K miles sounds like a $20K car as well. I think I'd rather have the Vette.

That's a listing of "sold" cars on Ebay, both auto and manual, with 75K miles or less. Seems to me the $14K-$17K range makes more sense for a clean, stock, 50K mile M6.

yeah the 3 year run makes them pretty limited and I guess being restricted to a 100-200 mile radius makes it a little more difficult on finding a good price. I've always wanted a GTO I think they're unique enough and will probably have a strong resale value, thats also part of the reason I'm entertaining the Mustang because its strong resale value and the 18's will be out soon so the 15-17's should drop in price (at least I think so). I plan to drive it through the winter so subjecting a Z06 to that and the lack of a back seat are what makes it less feasible for me to do a vette. I drove a 2010 Camaro and that interior did not do it for me and it was really difficult to see and just didn't mesh well for me.

Depends on what you want. If you are going to DD it the GTO or Mustang is nice. If you want a weekend car buy a corvette. The GTO stock suspension is junk and parts are expensive. if you get in any kind of accident with the GTO it will be a complete loss as the body parts are very expensive. Easiest to just buy Mustang.

Pretty much, this. Or go 5th gen Camaro as well...
I once had to pay $550 for engine fans on my 2005...
