Default 01 Camaro DEI and 97 Camaro 30th SS, vert, 6 spd

All,

Thoughts on values of 2 cars?

01 DEI, hard top, 6 spd, 2,000 miles, clean, clean..

97 Camaro SS, 30th, vert, 6 spd, 15,000 miles, clean, clean.

Both stock, untouched, all docs, mint.

Thanks

The 1997 examples are mostly in the lower teens at best but a clean low mileage example that you are asking about will bring more, like this 17k miles Camaro from a January 2019 Mecum auction that sold for just over $18,000. https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0119-35...s-convertible/
A 'like new' DEI could be priced crazy high but here is another example with even lower miles, that actually sold a few weeks ago. It went for $36,300. I can't imagine getting one with those low miles for under $30k. https://www.mecum.com/lots/AZ0319-37...hardt-edition/
IMO, Mecum sells so many cars every year (thousands), it reflects a close to real world price range whereas Barrett Jackson can bring out the high rollers where prices don't make sense at times. You may feel different but these are real sales or else they indicate 'the bid goes on..' The prices are driven up at times but still not too much or there would be no sale. Private sales will most likely be less $$$. If you are going for any of these two cars, best of luck!
