I personaly would trade. But, I would give the Vette some real look over.

Like I said earlier. How many times has it been sprayed?

Have you looked at it?

sounds like lust to me. With all that money in the car its a bad idea, then again 45g's in a trans-am isn't the best idea either. keep it theres always other cars you might think are nicer, "love the one your with".

Okay..the story is that I didn't put all that money. The guy before me did. He gave it away to me. I don't know why he did it. but he did. So the money isn't a big deal. I'm just attached to my car now. And I don't know where i could find another car like mine. Easier to find another Corvette. So I'm probably going to keep it. What what would be a good trade or sell price though??

Sooooo, you dont want to trade for a car that is worth about 35% more than yours, yet you want to sell it.

I will make it easy for you by letting you ship the TA to me. Then you won't have to worry about it.

Sounds good to me.

I would hold on to the T/A. C5's are dropping like rocks in value and there is a lot more money in the T/A, let alone much faster.

Thanks for the help! I treat my car good too. I have never let her see the rain or my the first owner. So it's all good. After college I can get a Vette i guess. After all this my car seems too rare, thanks to all the T/A lovers haha. And I don't wanna sell my car or it would be in the classifieds. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP! I appreciate it!! My bird is here to stay! Unless someone has a 2005 and up Z06 Vette?!?! Haha Later.

A 383 does not make 650rwtq NA. It won't happen. (He did list a stroker crank.. BMEP would be in the 290's.. impossible) His lift numbers are wrong on the cam. Those valvesprings will never control a T-Rex with 1.85 rockers, much less on normal rockers if he is actually using his 8500 rpm shift light. Besides a T-Rex on 1.85 rockers would coilbind springs rated to .600. No one spends that much money upgrading a 10 bolt, a 9 inch is cheaper. Axles and whatnot would be beefed up, but the teeth on a 4.56 gear would be so thin in a 7.5 housing, I don't care what you do, you're going to shear the teeth right off. There are just too many inconsistancies. And there's no f-ing way in hell you are putting that much to the ground through a single 3 inch y-pipe/i-pipe.

Maybe he means theres 45k invested in the whole car? (car+cage+engine mods+fuel system) Anyways, do what you want...we dont have the title to the car. I will say i love the cage in it and what you did with the floor mats in the hatch looks really sweet!

I'm thinking he was lied to, but had no idea. So he's speaking like it's truth, like it was spoken to him.

That's what I'm hoping at least...

OP - I vote do the trade.
