Anyone running a 11.5" rear rims in F Body

Default Anyone running a 11.5" rear rims in F Body

Im ready to order my CCW 505As and heard a 11.5 can and will fit a F body if the rear inner wheel well lip is hammered in alittle. If anyone is running a 11.5" in the rear, PLEASE chime in!! and let me know its possible with alittle hammering LOL!!Thanks Ed Barnat

11.5's and 12's are run. Remove the bumpstop. The size of the wheel is not so much the issue...it is typically the tire that typically goes with the wider wheels that creates issues. Make sure the tire you choose actually matches the wheel that you're purchasing. Always choose tires first, then by the manufactures suggestions, choose the right width wheel.

20X12s HREs in rear. 1" billet spacer and the BFHM. Tire is a 305 25 20. I dont like the tire its to narrow for the wheels.

I've got Forgeline 20x11.5 with Pirelli 345/25 R20's and they look GREAT. I had those tires on 12.5" wide wheels originally and they didn't look very good, but on the 11.5's they have a perfectly vertical sidewall. I have the offset set so the outside clears the wheel well no problem (since I am running my car damn low with coil overs), but the inside is VERY close and I did A LOT of BFH mod. I only have abotu 1/4-3/8" clearance on the inside so when I go over uneven ground the tire rubs the inside of the wheel well.
