Car looks killer man! I think my setup, like yours, has grown on me enough to where I don't even want the Greg Weld rears anymore haha.

you run slicks or drag radials. I run drag radials I know the one wheel needed 2.5ozs of weight other only needed .5

To be honest I probely wouldnt have had to grind at all if i did that. All my grinding was to clear the damn weights. I am going to see if they can be balance with weights only on the back lip but dont think that will happen all the weights they put in were in the front lip (2.5oz's driver side and passanger wheel only needed .5)

Tell them to static balance the wheels on the inside lip and say bye bye to sticky weights!

yea thats what I was thinking of doing. Talked to a wheel shop down here about it but the dude didnt seem to follow what I was asking he said it would be dump luck to just balance it on the inside lip. I was going to shoot you a pm on the other site since I know you work at a tire place. Thanks for the input. How's everything been?

I'm with you guys. This setup looks way better than if it had all four greg welds. I too seen the black camaro with all four and it didn't impress me. I seen a GTO with all four and it just doesn't look right. I'm going with the mismatch, its bitchin.

I almost forgot, Ruckus take them sticky weights off and have your wheels balanced on the inside lip. Any tire place should be able to do that. Heck even walmart tire and lube can do it.

yea the amount of grinding to fit the summit stars static balanced would be very minimal. Dynamic balanced well it needs some extra grinding but a little less then prostars

If you drag race very often you probably won't have much luck with the hammer on weights. I use only stick on weights on my drag wheels. I have lost count of how many hammer weights I have slung off at the track. Just my $.02

Wheels look great BTW!

Will be the same setup i'll have but with weld pro-stars instead of summit. Also would like to know if you are going to roll the fenders, from the looks of things if your car squats at all the fender will drop right down ontop of the tire.
