american racing rebels offset question
hye i really like these wheels and i was thinking about getting the 17 on the front and 18s out back. the 17s are 17x9 with a 24mm offset and the 18s are 18x10 with 41mm offset. i read the sticky and looks like the 18x10s with no problem but on the 17s it says that the offset should be 38 to 48. has anyone had these on there can and do they fit good?
thanks guys

The Rebel 17" x9" with the 24 mm offset and 18" x 9" with the 25 mm offset, IMHO, do not fit (especially a Camaro - a Firebird can somewhat pull it off since the fenders flare out a touch more than a Camaro) . . . A 9" wheel should have an offset around 32 mm for the tire to stay inside the wheel well.

The 17x9's were the first set of wheels I had on my old Firebird. It was before I knew about this site and I bought them because American Racing told me they were "made" for a F Body.
Well they don't know what they are talking about.
The fronts rubbed at around 1/4 of a turn from full lockout and my rear fenders would cut into my tires when I took a driveway straight on or went around a turn with someone in the back.
They looked killer but stuck out too far for my taste, and I didn't like dealing with rubbing issues. If I were you I would look into a different wheel.
