Default 2001 TA stock rim fit on a 2002 monte carlo?

Will a normal 16" polished TA rim fit on a 2002 monte carlo? mother wants to put a full size spare in her trunk for a long trip and i dont use my stock rims anymore, but i wasn't sure what the rim width is on them. im thinking 8.5? or 9" but im not 100% sure.

the tires she has on are like 220/50 or 250/50 something and thats what they would put on the rim. for a full size tires in-case of a flat.

They won't fit. The monte carlo has a 5x115mm bolt pattern while an f-body has a 5x120.65mm bolt pattern.
