Default 16 Inch Drag Wheel?

How come I don't see anyone running 16's? Just 15's and 17's unless its just a stock Salad Shooter or something like there. Is there 16 inch Drag Wheels for Fbody's? Maybe some 16 by 10's?

Just a random thought I had today.

Unless the reasoning is for appearance or fitment of a specific wheel, there is no reason to use 16's as they are heavier, typically more expensive and offer less tire choices.

Though we and others can offer you 16" wheels, there is little reasoning to do so as mentioned above. FWIW, strength differences, durability considerations have little to do with a wheel being 15 or 16" (if that is ones reasoning).

I can only speak for myself but i would love to run a 15" wheel but i refuse to grind down my calipers.

Unless you're running something very different (brakes), I can build you our direct fit 15" Bogart drag wheels for your car. We are the only manufactures who can offer you direct fit front and rear drag wheels.

Well it has stock brakes (for now) and is lowered about 1.5 inches in the rear and 1.75 in the front. Would you be able to pm a price for a complete set?

I have the CCW Drag Pack 16x5 and 16x10. They look good, don't require grinding but the biggest let down is your limited on tire sizes. I haven't found any other tire for the fronts than the ones CCW sells which are some sort of Firestone vintage tire. The rears you have more choices but are still some what limited. I'm currently running a MT Drag Radial 315/45/16 on the rear.

Pricing is right in line with most wheel manufactures. We are less expensive than some, more expensive then others.

Depending on how they are built, pricing varies. Please send requests to the e-mail address listed below my signature. It will require you to fill out specific information so that I know how to address each particular situation. The other option is to give us a call directly and I will be happy to discuss your particular situation.

If your considering changing brakes, you may be better off waiting until you're ready. A particular build that worked with a stock configuration may not be best suited for the new setup.

Centerline offers a 16X9.5, I think it is a Telstar, but I'm not positive. dragwheelz.com has a Billet Specialty 15X10 for street and strip that is SFI approved. NO GRINDING necessary, quality product.
