Default 295 tire on a 9.5 wheel

Ok so I know that you cant put 315s on a 9 or 9.5 wheel but can you put 295 on a 9.5 wheel? I am looking at some wheels that would look really hot and have 295s out back right now and just wondering if I would need to buy new tires or can I still use these? Thanks in advance.

I've seen the 295/45 Mickey's on 17x9's. But that's it.

Should be fine. I run those out back. Depending on the offset of your wheel, may need to do some minor inner wheel well massaging, or amybe a slight quarter lip roll . . .

The wheel offset will dictate it . . . not the tire.

With my 57 mm offset 10.5's needed a little BFH

With my now 38 mm offset 10.5's needed to roll the passenger quarter lip just a touch.

Minor mods for a great look.

i know someone who put 315's on stock 10 spokes. he said they felt weird for the first couple of weeks and then sort of settled in.
