Search. lots of people have this problem. I dont understand it- i put OEM Zo6 wheels on my trans am with original F1 supercar tires 295's and had ZERO clearance issues. No spacers, no rubbing. But it seems like Everyone else has to grind down the Bumpstop or BFH. Search it its a common issue but id get spacers either way to make the wheel flush with your wheel well

Make sure your rear loaded as it may put the stop inside the rim. Mine was the same way with it hanging but I moved the stops in a tad just in case I wanted to play Dukes Of Hazzard LOL

Like stated above, lift your car by the rear-end and you will have no problem unless you are doing Dukes of Hazard ****.

Oh my god. Don't cut off your bumpstops. The problem you are having is typical on wide rear tires. I have 11's in the back of my car. Grind the metal down on the bumpstop until you hit the bumpstop itself. This will give you some room. And then what you are going to have to do is get used to jacking the rear end from the differential instead of on the sides. Jacking on the sides lifts the bumpstop up so when you set the car down the bumpstop hits the inside lip of your rims. Jacking on the differential on the other hand lifts everything at once and avoids this problem. A minor nuisance for traction.

Wait, I don't understand. I am also going to get C5 Z06 rims/ 18x9.5 in the front and 18x10.5 in the back. Am I also going to have this problem? I am on stock suspension right now but might want to lower it about 2"

No. When you lift the body up the rear drops down putting that stop in the position noted (extended rear). That will make it tight in that area. When the car is back down on the ground under full weight the stop will be inside the rim. As an extra precaution you can take out the rear bolt of the stop (one closest to rear of car), take a cut-off wheel and cut the tab off up to that bolt hole and zip-tie the rear bolt hole. This basically puts the stop straight instead of that weird angle and gives you about another 3/4" clearance without taking the stop out at all.

Here is my thread where I saw the same thing with the stop close on my 15x10's. As you can see the body is up and rear is down. I moved my stop over as seen just for safety (no big jumps planned but don't hurt). When we sat the car down on the ground though the stop was about 3" inside the rim where it had 8" of clearance. Unless you get the car completely off the ground where your rear is hanging down you won't have an issue. You can do like I did though "just in case" so it will never hit.

I have a really tarded question for you. Is the car sitting on teh ground. from the way the pic looks, the car is still in the air.

On my car I have ZR1 17x11 in the back. When the car is on the ground the bump stops are about in the middle of the rim. Only when the car is lifted and the suspension is dropped do they rub.
Looks like you have a leaking shock too.

I would just grind them down abit. I have 18x10.5 c6 wheels with 285/35/18 nittos and also had 285/35/18 gs-d3's and my bump stops just graze the bump stop but it actually still moves past it just fine. And I now have an adjustable panhard bar and they dont touch anymore. Check both sides to see if there hitting. You may be able to just get an adjustable panhard bar. Or just use a BFH to push them in a hair. Good luck!
