Default Worth it.... 275/35/18 & 285/35/18

I'm looking at running a 275 front and a 285 rear. The reason being my rims are all 18x9.5 and I wanted to run a stickier tire in the rear and nitto looks like the only one to carry the same sort of tread pattern for two different tires and they don't have any DR in a 275...I don't want to mix and match tires

So is it worth it ? or should I just get all 275/35/18 or 285/35/18 with no DR..

I am running 295 35 18 in the rear and 255 40 18 up front. Also running staggared rims. I would say get both the same so you can rotate. Them, I don't think less than 1/2"of tread width will make a difference.

yeah 1/2 wouldn't make much but I want drag radials for the rear and they don't come in a 275/35/18

yes. i'm running 275 45 17 555's up frond and 315-35-17 555R's out back. those are exactly the same tread pattern. notice the drag radial has a much larger contact patch, and not as many "lugs" in the tread pattern

I ended up with 275-35-18 555 fronts, and 285/35/18 555R rears...
Last pic shows a 285 DR (left) next to a 275 555 (right)

cant wait to see how they look on the car? make sure u take a rear shot, and an angled rear shot so we can see how beefy those 285 look.

thats what im running 275/40/17 nitto555 up front but a 305/35/18 in the rear 555r. looks great and you can def tell the difference from the drag radial. these tires arent too bad in the rain either
