Default i need traction

i finally took the car to the track this weekend and was having a terrible time with traction, off the line and when it hits second, im running a 255 50 16 falken with about 35 psi, what kind of pressure should i run at the track and should i heat up the tires or run them "cold"

I hope you didn't do a massive burnout with the radials. Just enough of a burnout to get sum fresh rubber and get the dirt off them. I had luck with keeping the pressure up compared to putting it low like a slick or D/R. Is your car an auto or stick?

Drag radials will be better then trying to launch on regular radials.

Nittos last longer. Roughly about 15-17k miles but they don't hook as well as M/T drag radials but the M/t's don't last as long roughly about 6-8k miles.
