hope i dont have problems with traction. the other concern is the salesman said no street cornering. what center section would you all recommend for a moser 9 inch rearend for street driving and high horsepower. and longivity of tires on cornering. i know the full spool i have isnt going to cut it

too late, but an FYI......the kuhmo v710 is NOT a drag race tire at all. its an autox/track tire. very, very stiff sidewall, which is not what you want for drag racing, and probably why you had trouble hooking with them. theyre made for cornering, not launching.
what is the hoosier tire called, that you bought. is it their drag slick....and i assume not an A6 or R6?

I had a old pair of 315/35/17 auto x tires on my old car and they would smoke like crazy. They were so old and hard as hell it took them forever to get them sticky. We put them on my friends mustang and he did a burnout up my whole block. That was the last of them.

woo hoo fixed my tire shake.. was spinning the rim in the tire.. if u used these i suggest using permatex HIGH TAK gasket adhesive on the beads... spray it on and set the beads.. and they will not move any more... DO NOT LUBE THE BEAD WHEN INSTALLING THE TIRES..... they will spin on the rim....

im just wondering...is it absolutely necessary tocut out the bump stops with these tires or did you just do that so the rear end would drop all the way when you lift the car up? i know with my 18" 315 BFGs i didnt have to hammer anything or cut anything at all but when i lift my car i cannot take the rear wheels off unless i am jacking it up on th rear end itself cause otherwise the wheels get stuck on my bump stops...
