I actually looked at the NT 555 Extreme Performance Tires pretty closely.
315/35/17 are around $200/tire and the 275/40/17 are about ~$145/tire.
The one site I looked at, including free replacement certificates, was ~$800 to your door for the set of four.
That's really not that bad...

That is the exact combo i went with.. Nitto 555 Extreme's.. they are a good tire, and last quite awhile. ( depending on your drive style). I have gotten 20K out of my last set..
I paid $504.00 shipped to TX for the Black ZR1's(wide lip)... The tires out the door were $850.00.. including road hazard warranty.. So roughly $1354.00 for the set.. minus $425.00 for my used Z06's...
$929.00 for wheels/tires (315's no less) is a pretty decent investment if my math is correct..
to the OP... Your LT1 car looks great!!

I think I'm gonna look into this a bit more and see what the wheel guys say it'd cost for a set shipped to me.
And you're right...that's not a bad price over all.
Thanks!

Thanks for all the comments guys, and i think my wheels look like such a deep lip because of the silver, it makes the lip blend into where the spokes meet the lip and kinda add a little depth to it. Cant wait to see the black and polished on that pewter color, its gonna look sick!!

So what is everyone doing in terms of 315 tires? I've looked around, but it seems the options are limited unless you're running drag radials...which is something I don't really want to do.
Currently have BFG KDWs on there...but doesn't look like I'll be able to find anything that matches them in a regular street tire - at least that's made by BFG.
