How long will they hold there shine?
until water hits em, then they are stained with water spots that require ALOT of work to get out. They do look killer, but the upkeep is something else.

Damn so everytime you wash your car you need to repolish them or what? How hard is it to keep them shiny and lookin good? I want mine to look like that but if everytime I wash my car I need to spend an hour on the wheels alone forget it!

they can be re-coated with clear coat, this will eventually get to what your removing though..

pretty much everytime, there is some stuff called zoop, that is kinda expensive, that is supposed to keep them from getting the water stains, i have never used it, but have read about it on here. Yes, bare aluminum will keep you very busy

Wouldnt they just be about the same amount of work as polished TT2's? I was going to get a set of those but thinking about keeping my WS6 wheels if I can make them look good.

i take my tt2s to the local truck stop, and they have a polishing place that charges 5 bucks a wheel.. and it takes them about 30 mins to do all 4 wheels... i bought mine used and after taking them down there they looked almost brand new...

yeah, im thinking of doing this right now. my wheels look so horrible, i got a powerball and the spots that arn't cleard (peeled) are making the cleared spots look even worst, mine are all jacked up.

if you have a powerball, upkeep on them shouldnt be a problem, i reccomend one.

im going to get some stripper!!!!!!

put some zoop seal on them, it helps keep the shine and makes them easier to clean.

Thumbs up

Nice work those look awesome. Try some of that Zoop seal. You can get it from Eastwood. It is a polish that is supposed to protect them for a year. Some people claim it works well. Its worth a try.
