I did this to my wheels not to long ago. When I get home I'll try to remember and post up pics.

I am definately doing this on my 98. I also bought this blingmaster polish that should make them look incredible after stripping them.

Thanks. I also used the Blingmaster on mine but didn't really do much polishing on them.

If your wheels are still clearcoated you will need to strip them for the Blingmaster to work effectively.

I would strip the wheels, then pick up a Flitz Powerball and go to town with the Blingmaster.

I did polish them after stripping them I just didn't spend much time on polishing them. I'm washing the car today and plan on spending some time on the wheels to get them shining a little more. I may have to swing by the shop and pick up another bottle. I've been polishing anything and everything I can with that stuff

Sounds good, if you need some help or pointers just stop on in and I will give you a hand. I have my Flitz Buff Ball already in my DeWalt so its ready for some fresh aluminum.

On the first wheel it only took one coat. On the others it took between 2-3. It helps if the wheels are cleaned first before you start to strip them. I also used a pressure washer to rinse everything off after it had set for about 10 minutes or until I noticed it stopped bubbling.
