I drive mine on the street all the time ,and cant even tell any difference in the braking or handling, and plus the back brakes help stop to in case of a sudden stop.

for you guys driving around on the street with these drag set ups on radial tires, is it safe? i heard if your on the highway doing a 100+ you start to get a little bouncy which doesn't sound safe too me. am i better off going with a bigger rim 17" an doing a 315 for a tire or are the 15" with more tire fine w/
15x4 up front? i don't have enough money for drag/strip so that's outta the question.
