For your wheels use:

315/35/17's for your 17x10.5's

and

255/50/16's for your 16x8's

275/60/15's are for 15" rims, and the 275/40/17's are for 17x9" wheels. Each of which you do not have.

Lack of traction is more likely due to your suspension geometry.

Have you carefully designed your suspension to take full use of the power your putting down? if not, tires would not be my first suggestion.

M/T's are known to hook better than Nitto's. I believe they will reduce your 60 ft's as well as your e/t's

Actually I ran mid to high 11's on motor years ago with completely stock suspension and Mickey Thompson ET street radials. That was with a vigilante 3600 converter. I would give them a shot. If you need suspension work to get it to hook, you'll still need the tires.

FYI, I'm running 275/40R17 on my stock SS ZR1 chrome wheels(17x9.5) and I dont think you could go wider(maybe 285??)...

I hook 1st gear N/A without any problem!..around 400rwhp

You cant go wrong with em. But on the juice its another story...

No, Nitto's generally suck. I don't car how adjustable and dialed in your suspension is (and I doubt the OP has started tearing into those parts yet because he doesn't understand tire sizes) tires are it. Tires are the only thing keeping your car in contact with the road.

To the OP,

Dude, start with some good tires, get the car to hook first so you can get an accurate idea of what the suspension is wanting to do, and go from there.

There is no comparison between Nitto's and Mickey's.
