Default $662 a good price for 4 BFG KD's?

Would i be better off going with something else in this price range? Or is this a steal? A guy on ebay is selling some and $662 would get me 4 brand new KD's in 275/40/17 shipped to me

^^^i noticed that. even for KDWs it would be 800 plus for the tires alone. if i were to get the KDs it would be roughly $740 mounted and balanced

That's a great deal for those tires. It's a really popular size that most places are out of/back ordered. I'd say get them

I had those on my SS rims and they have a really aggresive thread pattern and are overall a nice tire.. That's a great deal, I would get them.

great deal but they are discontinued. so if you have an issue with one you wont be able to match it.

i know they arent the best, but they arent the worst. My rear Supra 712s grip well even with 4/32. I have to factor in practicality. I can get the Kumhos, which will last twice as long, for $200 less.

A lot of Viper guys swear by Kumhos for their cars. The ones on my LT1 were just fine and were very cheap off Tire Rack.

I love my khumos. They grip pretty well and on the chance you wanna make a little noise, they make the most, and whitest smoke I have ever seen lol.

Totally agree. I had kumho's on my car before I would rather wrap bedsheets around the wheels, would probably be better overall performance.

I can vouch for the BFG KD's, I have a pair of 315/35/17 on my back tires and they're great. Best tires I've ever had on the car. They also don't seem to be wearing out very fast even with the 200twi, I've had them on for about 5000 miles and they still look new.

The ASX's will perform worse than the BFG's in every way, including wet handling which is scary since they are an all season not a summer tire. (I know this from experience, my brand new asx's were the only tires I've ever repeatedly hydroplaned on)

i have kumhos on my car at the moment and hate them. i almost want to change over to the drag wheels and waste my expensive tread on my m/t dr's because traction is so horrible with them.

I had more traction with my burned down bfg's on the rear than i did with my just mounted kumhos......just food for thought. and my car is mostly stock....

I would have done with the KDs.

Ultimately all your performance is transmitted through your tires and also limited by the ability of your tires.

Sorry I wouldnt have reccomended the ASXs. And I have personal experience with those tires.

Dont go cheap on tires.

I have the ASX's on mine right now. As a DD, I agree w/ hitman. It's all about practicality. The only real complaint I have with mine is they are a bit noisy. Bang for buck its not bad though
