Default Tires for 18x10.5's

First off, I have been searching and can't really find anything that will answer my multiple questions, so here it goes.

I'm trying to decide what size tire to go with between a 295/35 or a 315/30. I'm trying to keep it under $300/tire (just the tire, I can mount/balance them myself at a buddy's shop).

I'm looking at:
295/35/18:
Nitto INVO: Possible, but I know Nittos run narrow and I'm not a big fan of my 555 DR's
BFG KDW2: This is the one I'm leaning towards
Toyo Proxes T1R: Close running with the KDW2

315/30/18
Hankook RS2: Pretty good price, but I can't find any reviews for the larger size or on a bigger torquier car, it's mostly for small FWD cars and miatas with a few porsches.

Basically I'm looking for anybody who has some input to the tires above, or has experience with another tire that would fit well. I'm running BFG G-Force Sports on there now and I love them but the biggest I can find is 275/40.

Also, I'm thinking about running a small (maybe 20mm max) spacer. Anybody have any opinions good/bad about small spacers?

I'm running 295/35 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's on 18x10.5 in the rear, they fit great, look awesome, and have excellent traction wet and dry. I highly recommend taking a look at them.

I run the Toyo Proxes T1R all around. They're a good tire. For the rears I run a 295/35/18 on a 18x10.5 wheel.

How much BFH did you have to do?

None, the combination of a spacer and stock height springs in the rear keep it clear. I'll be putting 1.2" lower springs in the rear soon though, we'll see what happens then.

Well then how much of a spacer did you run, because no BFH is a good thing

I love my 305 nitto dr's!!!! I'm very glad I purchased them and they do not look narrow at all. Somebody with the 315 nitto 555r's thought that my 305's looked a bit wider and they could use minimal BFH. My co-worker has the 295 BFG KDW2's and I think they look really good too.

Yea, I can't be running DR's on the street. I'm leaning towards the BFG's just because that's the only brand I've ever had on the car.

I'm running 315-30-18 michelin pilot sports... go 315 if you can they look bad ***... I just took off my 295 firestone wide ovals with 75% tread still left on them because I wanted a wider tire, you buy the wide ovals if off me you want

Well, according to Nitto's website, their 305/35/18 is wider than their 315/35/17 DR's. I plan on switching to them once I can get my ZR1's sold and can get ahold of some C5 deep dishes.

I'm running 295/30/18 Kuhmo Exstas. They were 1/2 of what every other tire I looked at cost, they do good on wet roads, good dry traction, but look stupid IMO. I can't wait to get a bigger tire on the back. The difference between the 275/40/17 and 295/30/18 is too much. I'll more than likely be going to either a 305/35 or a 315/30. In my experience, the Nitto DR's have always run narrow when compared to regular tires. I know of a few people that are running their 335/30/18 DR on a 10.5" wheel with no issues.
