Poll: Fikse Profil 10 or 13?
OK, well since nobody has replied to my other post...
Give your opinion, Which wheel would look better on a '98-02 camaro. The Profil 10 or the 13? I like them both so I'm not 100% on either. I just don't want to spend that much $$$ on them and not be totally sure or happy with the choice, you know? I plan on running 18" with 285/335 Michelin Pilot PS2s btw. I'm kinda leaning toward the 13s as long as I can get the right offset I am planning on 'cuz they look great with a wider lip/dish. Like on the DH cars. Thanks.

Here is what I am talking about. I want the rear wheels & tires to fit just like this.
18x11.5 with 335s.

Is your car mini-tubbed? If not, those 335 wide tires will not fit properly. The car you posted above appears to have a narrowed axle as well, looking at the depth of that rear wheel.
I'm a dealer for Fikse, we spec out 11.0 with a 315 for the rear of f-bodies. Even this barely fits, usually requiring a rolled fender lip out back.
Email me when you need a quote!

Hey Nine Ball,
Thanks for reponding. You may very well be right, although h8bnslo posted a while back on the subject and he said that all he did was quite a bit of BFH'ing the wheel wells. But if I would need to shorten the axle, how much would that cost? I will most likely end end doing it. I'm going to be getting a upgraded rear end anyway. I'm doing a LSX 454 build so I'll need a beefier one. Probably a Strange 12 bolt or S60. And I looked at Lingenfelter, they have the Profil 13s for $1037 for 18x10 & $1140 for 18x11.5. What offset would tuck them in right? 50mm?

I love my 13's. Look even better in person. Either way you go you'll be happy regardless. Best wheel in the market IMO.

Help me h8blnslo! Where are you? Ha ha. Seriously I'd love to actually get in touch with that dude. Somehow he fit 18x11.5 IForged Aero's & 335 tires on his camaro with just BFH'ing the hell out of the rear wells. Oh, and as he has said in a post, "it's all in the offset". I still will probably get the rear end narrowed, I'm going to be getting a beefier one anyway. Gonna need it with the LSX 454!

If you're going to spend THAT much cash on a wheel YOU need to choose the wheel YOU like.
Other peoples opinions are just that opinions.
And SRZ is right, many wheels do not photograph well. . . .
As for H8BNSLO, I beleive he sold the car quite a few years ago, and has gotten out of the F-Car scene.

If you are buying a brand new axle, it costs nothing to get it narrowed. They build them to your spec. You can chop 2 inches off on each side, install mini-tubs, and get some offset mounted lower control arms. Basically what the drag racers do to fit wide slicks.
Using a BFH to fit 335s is just half assed. Do it the right way, or just stick with 315s.

I knew that he sold the car but I wasn't sure if he was still around. I haven't read any post from him in a while. Damn it.
