A week or two goes by and again, no word from OE. So I call back and they say that their email can only accept one picture at a time so they haven't gotten any emails from me. WTF? Why wouldn't you let me in on that little piece of information the first time I called when you asked me to send pictures (the s=plural) of the wheels??? So I send the pictures a 3rd time. I call back again a week later and this is the answer I get. "You probably used a chemical on them that you weren't supposed too so you will have to send us one of your wheels so we can do some tests on it but it probably wont be covered under the warranty, it will probably take 3 months" Basically they wanted me to park my car all summer, pay to have a tire taken off the rim, pay to ship them the rim and hope that their "test" concluded that all that was used on the wheels was dawn dish soap, mothers wax and the occasional squirt of tire shine because that was all that was actually ever used on them.

I eventually fell part of their scam and gave up. Ill probably just end up painting them black because even though I'm not a big fan of black wheels, just about anything would look better that what I have now.

The ZR1's on my formula, in the pic a few posts up, are near 4 years and at least 30k miles old. They were on my Camaro before I got this car. I have had not one issue with them. Sorry to hear about your experience but it was likely a defect and not do to poor quality.
