Do you have any pics of the stock painted C7 wheels on the car?

Lance; IF you are looking for suggestions on what to offer as well, I suggest a C7 Z06 (or even a C6 Z06) wheel in ALL black, or gun metal, in 18x10.5 SQUARE, in an offset that would let us 4th gens run 295/35 -18s ALL around with NO spacers!!

Looks great, even without it being lowered.

Where are those pics taken, up around Phoenicia, or somewhere north of that??

BMR springs, Koni's, UMI lca's panhard bar and relocation brackets sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. MGW short shifter on its way here to be installed. I will post a new picture in a week or two when its installed. That picture was taken by bear mountain down by west point.

I purchased my wheels brand new in June of 2013, 18" C5R's with the machined face. When I first pulled them out of the box, one of the wheels had a weird texture in the black paint but you couldn't really tell so I didn't really let it bother me. Within 6 months I noticed them beginning to peel slightly around the edges on all 4 wheels. I was a little upset but once again I did not let it bother me. The car sat outside in the snow parked beside of my house all winter. I don't drive it in the winter but I do store it outside. When the snow began to melt last spring, I noticed the peeling was getting worse, so bad that it was noticeable from more than 10 feet away. Thank god these wheels have a 1 year warranty right? Wrong. I called them and explained my situation. They said send pictures and we'll take a look at it. OK, snapped some pictures and emailed. 3 weeks go by no word from them so I call again. Talk to a different person, seemed like this was the first time I called all over again and same reply, send pictures and we'll take a look at them. So I send pictures to a different person at OE. A week or two goes by and again, no word from OE. So I call back and they say that their email can only accept one picture at a time so they haven't gotten any emails from me. WTF? Why wouldn't you let me in on that little piece of information the first time I called when you asked me to send pictures (the s=plural) of the wheels??? So I send the pictures a 3rd time. I call back again a week later and this is the answer I get. "You probably used a chemical on them that you weren't supposed too so you will have to send us one of your wheels so we can do some tests on it but it probably wont be covered under the warranty, it will probably take 3 months" Basically they wanted me to park my car all summer, pay to have a tire taken off the rim, pay to ship them the rim and hope that their "test" concluded that all that was used on the wheels was dawn dish soap, mothers wax and the occasional squirt of tire shine because that was all that was actually ever used on them.

I eventually fell part of their scam and gave up. Ill probably just end up painting them black because even though I'm not a big fan of black wheels, just about anything would look better that what I have now.
The ZR1's on my formula, in the pic a few posts up, are near 4 years and at least 30k miles old. They were on my Camaro before I got this car. I have had not one issue with them. Sorry to hear about your experience but it was likely a defect and not do to poor quality.
Here's a pic of the same wheels on my Z28 a few years ago.

No but next time I bring the car down to work I'll set them up next to the car and take a side view picture.

I WISH they offered those FULLY painted in both black and gun metal (and in a 18x10.5 SQUARE set up for the 4th gens, with NO spacers needed!), so that we would not need to go and first have them powder coated if we did not want the polished/silver 'lip'.

Yes you can. Please just call us a day before you want to pick them up so we can have them ready for you. we don't have a showroom or retail space per say.

^^^I would like those in an 18x10.5 square set up in ALL gunmetal, with no polished lip, but of course they will NEVER offer them that way.

we are constantly getting new inventory. we just received over 700 corvette style wheels today actually.

Had a cracked stock rim so ordered a set of C6 Z06 rims. Really impressed with the initial quality of them. Guys at Tread Quarters were too.
