I'm VERY interested in a 17x9.5 front and 18x10.5" rear setup now. I just need to know something, why would you need a spacer in the rear? They don't just bolt on?

You don't need spacers, but you'll get the wheels flush with the body + better clearance.

Plus I read with a big enough spacer, the wheels wont hit the bumpstops when the car is raised. I figure probably a 1/4" spacer would be good.

1/4" is what I hear most people using with the 17/18 combo. Also if you want to go wide in back and lowered you'll need an adjustable panhard bar.

I would say you should get an adj PH bar anyways, just so you can center up the rear. I had to use it on mine and im stock height. and if u look at my pics, you can see that the rear tire isnt totally flush with the quarter... so like 1/4-1/2 in spacer will bring it out just right.... will have to see mine when i get the spacers on it

Quick pic of the car, just put wheels on. The rear wheels wouldn't even turn lol, they were sitting right against the wheel well in one spot. Did the BFH mod and drove it again, much better, but there are still some spots to touch up on before spraying undercoating. Car is lowered on Sportlines. 18x10.5 all around, and it could definitely use a big spacer in the front as they are sunken in. I noticed on quick turns I am hearing a clunking sound in the front, might be hitting the spindle.

I just ordered a set of black C5 Z06's! 17x9.5 & 18x10.5 .. how long should I expect to get them with express handling?

I'm also afraid of running these spacers.. I'm gonna order shank lugs but still.. creepy.

That looks kickass homerunhtr. I can't wait til I get new wheels.

I put in an order yesterday at about 4PM for black C5 Z06's.. but I changed my mind, I want chrome one's instead. I'm just hoping they can change it, and they get back to me.
