Question 18s Rear Tire Size Options

Wut is a nice size tire that would fit on a 2000 Camaro Z28, with a set of z06 18inch rims?? i dont wanna start hammering stuff or anything, wut size are u guys running back there?

Run a 295/35/18 thats the biggest without getting the hammer out. You might need an adjustable panard bar to center the rear end.

i run 18x9.5 C5 Z06 on all four. the tires im running is 275/35/18. fits perfect.

I know BFG does. Personally, if you're going with 295's, I would go with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's. Tirerack has them on sale for $163 a piece. I have basically brand new tires on my car, but I'm half tempted to order a pair, or maybe even a full set, for that price.

295 is your best option. you can fit a 315 with some hammering

a 315 is the width on those tires... they are 315/30 or 35/18s but they are up there in cost, so a 295/35/18 would be your best option

Are the rears 18x10.5? If they are then yes you can fit 305 or 315.

Ask the person you are buying from or just measure the width of the rim without the tire plain and simple. 305 mt's are very wide and will rub. I put on some 305 nitto's and the car fine with only me in the car and did little rubbing with a passenger. Once you put someone in the back, it rubs a whole lot.

so wut can i do to make these fit? or just use a 295/35/18 to be safe
