28 vs 26
28 vs 26 99 ta with 2500 stall 4.10 gears and various bolt ons with a 100 shot im on a 28 10.50 15 and im wondering if i would have a better et with a 26 inch tall tire. could anyone help me out maybe with a personal expierence or something any info would be appreciated thanks
If you can hold traction with a 26" it might help a tenth or 2. Problem is your running a 4:10 and i don't think its a good combo with 26" tire. Are you running 1/4 or 1/8 mile?
I know when i was running 26" with a 3:23 gear I was just shifting into 3rd at the 1/8th. Putting in 4:10s I would probably be in the middle to low part of 3rd gear.
Less shifting usually better e.t.

ill find out thursday for sure thats when our track opens..... im thinking ill be either at the end of second or begining of third more than likely ill be in third at the traps
