The best all around summer tire
Hey guys. I was just wondering what the general opinion is on which tire to go with for summer performance. I want something that can handle a little water here and there. I was looking at the BF goodrich g-Force T/A KD. Im getting iforged 5 spokes, 18 inch in high polish. Give me some opinions on tires please thanks guys

My vote goes for the Kumho MX tire as it will perform as well as the KD in the dry and outperform the KD in the wet. Plus they had the correct sizes for my application, I didn't want to settle for a 265 tire that the KD's come in.

I have used my Nitto 555R's in the heat, cold, rain and snow. If it wasn't for the snow I'd recommend them for use year round. The 555R's are a little scary if you go through a really deep puddle but chances are you arnt gonna go scuba diving in your car.
In snow..................they suck so bad it's no even funny. 555R's are cheap too, I paid 160.00 for each.

Yeah but the prob with 555rs is they are very soft and dont last that long but they are sticky Just look at the reviews on d3s that they did at the tire rack the only thing that performed better dry was a pole position s03 but in the rain it won by 6 seconds on the lap with the d3s

d3 hands down. The kdw is a nice tire probably my second favorite, I just hate how bfg's as a whole tend to rot fast. i was thinking about michelin pilot cups but im looking at over 310 each for the rear, and aside from that they arnt as predictable out of a spin (which no matter what i will be spinning a street tire). i was thinkin about f1 slicks all the way around to bad I can only get my hands on a 15"

My biggest problem with the D3s is the tread pattern. It's too wild for me. I like the more traditional pattern used on the KDW....
Apperance is subjective though....

Still like the KDWs better.
Still don't think much of 97M6Formula's opinion.
