Default Is there a way that I can fit my 17x9/17x10.5 2003 Cobra wheels on my TA?

Like the title says, I have a set of Terminator wheels in perfect condition from my wrecked GT. I love the way they look, and they're almost brand new. It might be blasphemous to put these wheels on an F-Body, but it would save me a lot of money, and I think it would look awesome. I know the bolt patterns are completely different, but is there some sort of hub adapter that I could use to fit the wheels? Thanks.

Sell the wheels and buy new ones that fit correctly and look better.

yes you can. they make adapters that change bolt patterns. i dont think its much different than putting a ford 9" in the car, but no, i personally wouldn't put ford rims on my chevy, LOL

My question was if I could get the wheels to fit, not if I can sell them and get new wheels. I just wanted to know. Thanks Jeffro, for answering my question. Where can I find these adapters?

**** you're in the bay area too? san leandro on E14th, i think it's called wheel service, they have alot of different ones in stock, or they can order whatever you need. tell him what wheel you have, and what car you want to put them on. As for an offset or back space, i don't know

I don't see the problems with having Mustang wheels on a Camaro/Bird. A wheel is a wheel, as long as it looks good. My main concern is how good they will look in terms of offset and backspacing.

call wheel service, they could answer you better. although if you planned on racing on those rims, i wouldn't do it with the adapters, I haven't seen it, but i have heard of them breaking under too much torque (and not the lugnuts)

Here you go.

Also dont forget that if you run adapters, you will change the offset +/- requirements on the car/ rims.

before looking for adapters find out what the offsets on the wheels are, and compare it to what you need. Last thing you want to do is buy adapters and end up with the wheels sticking way out.

I believe the adapters will add atleast 1" to the track width. I also think that the mustang wheels have a lower offset then F-body wheels to begin with. Basicaly you could go spend some money on adapters that would almost deffinatly make your wheels stick out way past the fenders or you could get some correct wheels.

Just get new wheels. my friend did this and had a wobble in the steering wheel at high speeds bc the wheels were not put on securely to the adapter.

And whose fault was this?

I ran 2" adapters on my 69 Camaro for 2 years with no problem. Was my Daily drive, took it to high school and job so you know I was out a lot.
