Wheel fitment help!!
Alright so I bought wheels from OEWheels but they sent them to the wrong address and I guess ups left them at the door and now they are gone... but thats a different story...
I bought the same wheels from a local shop and the front ones fit which are 17x9.5 but the rear ones (18x10.5 - 56mm offset) wont... the bore on the wheel wont fit over the hub... any ideas on what I can do to make these fit, they are C5 Deep dish wheels that are made for Vettes, Camaro etc...

This is a very common issue with the LT1 F-Cars . . . for some very odd reason the rear axle hub is ever so slightly larger in diameter . . . To get the wheel to fit the center bore of the wheel needs to be carefully enlarged. A Dremel will do the trick. A big sanding cone on a drill would be "better" but either work.

ok wow im an idiot... I was looking at it and since the center bore was actually going over the hub and not sitting on right... I looked behind the wheel and its my bump stop... how do I remove or shave that off?

Is the car supported with jackstands under the frame or under the rear end? Just curious as I know my wheels won't go on all the way due to the bumpstop unless the car is supported with jackstands under the rear end so that the rear end doesn't hang down... instead it's as if the car was on the ground with all the weight on the rear end. At which point the wheel goes on all the way because the edge of the wheel is now above the bump stop. Make sense? I've never removed the bump stop, but I'm sure you can do a search and find a whole bunch of information on how to buzz it off. Good luck.

Jack it up high enough to put jackstands under the rear axle tubes, then let the jack down and let the car rest on the stands... then see if the wheels slide on all the way or if they still hit the bumpstops... if they do, then yes you will have to remove the bumpstop.
