Cool Lets talk REAL DEAL DEEP DISH! Not that Vette DD crap!

I am looking for something that would be deep enough to drown a few cats, lol... I see all these threads talking about deep dish this... and deep dish that... just to click on it and be disappointed to see something that is not even deep enough to fit a hand from tip to wrist.

Below are some READ DEAL deep dish wheels, but will they fit!? Some of these go up to 16" W I D E so I don't know if the pic is reflecting those, so a 10" wide may not be as profoundly deep.

What is the widest we can go in the rear without mounting issues? I have a MWC Fab9 so it can be cut, but what is the widest we can run uncut as well as a MAX cut rear?

Here are some pics of what I's likey, anyone else running these?

I think some of those are excessive, but I've been wanting some real deep dish for a while now. A member on here has deep dish shelby wheels with 335's I believe on a red camaro. Looked amazing

I don't like deep dishes that are larger than 3 inches. DD vette wheels look good.

Hmmm... Hope he chimes in, but if not, do you have pics of said Camaro?

I like the Vette DD, but they to me are not a DD, they just have a nice lip

Now if they came in something like I posted above then that would be ****!

True that man! I seen a set of DD like the ones I posted in the classifieds, but sadly they were not on the car.

Thanks for the man! Do you have better profiles of the wheels? What wheel are you running?

Thanks for the pics, but I realize now that I was talking about the guy who did the DD Vette wheels. IIRC he had them cut and widened, but like I said, I don't recall a pic of them. I guess they were just WIDE and on DEEEEP.

Again, thanks for the pics! Though they were not the ones I was thinking of, it is cool to see them.

Getting a deep dish like that is going to require the rear narrowed. Basically the more its narrowed the more dish your going to have. There is a guy on here that has a red Camaro or TransAm that I think the rear is narrowed about 4 inches on both sides and it has a real nice set of Boze wheels on it. That's prolly the type of setup I would go with. I'll try and find the car and post some pics and more info if I can find it.

edit- I found a pic of the car. Still looking for more info.

Yeah I read a thread about the MAX cut on a rear though I thought it was 3.5 on each side due to the LCA bracket IIRC (I could be wrong about that).

Mmmm... Now were getting somewhere, lol, thanks for the pic!

I'll just put it out there, lol... Can we run a 15" or 16" wide wheel, even with a cut rear?

Ok I found the thread. It doesn't say exactly the specs on the rear but nothing a little PM won't take care of. For a stock wheelhouse I would say the widest wheel you could run would be a 12" possibly a 13" wheel if it has the right backspacing.

on to the thread. https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...ze-forged.html
