Default MT ET Street or Hooiser QTP???

Going to be buying drag tires next week and would like peoples opinion on which tires and why

Looking at the 27x10.5-15

Both companies make that size.

I have used both and liked both. Really both are good tires IMHO. Just depends on what you want. From what I have seen the ET streets have a longer life (driving around on them/street use) and the QTPs have a way softer sidewall that help alot at the track.

Only things I know to tell you.

I have had both also but if there going on the newer car i would go w/ the M/T ET Streets w/ the stiffer sidewall.The QTP wrinkle wall sways @ high speeds.

The QTP's are ALOT better for 6 speed cars. The auto cars work well with both of them. From my experience the MT's will not hold the "shock" that the M6 speed cars put to them. I run the QTP's on the street but they do sway from time to time.

I've got the Hoosiers too but mine are 27x11.5s
