Default which tire to choose?

i have narrowed my tire options down to nitto 555 and cooper zeon sport. my car is a daily driver, i never go to the track but i still want traction on the street. i would like them to last around 25k to 30k. Which one would you recommend?

Hey:

Nittos' Invo,& NT05, Michelin Pilot Sports ps2, Goodyear DS F1, and the Vredstein Ultrac Sessanta, better wet weather traction, the same reason for all.
And I currently have Coopers Zeon, Firestone Firehawks, Nitto 555 extremes, and Goodyear F1 DS 03 on our 4 cars right now, I just switched from Nitto Nt05/nt05r combo to the 555s and wish I would have just sold the wheels only and kept the tires and got another set of NT05s for the rear. Dry the 555s are great but they are not the best tire to have in a downpour, which we have gotten a few of this year.

Nittos are pretty good on the street but I didn't have much luck with the at the track. They seem to be a better street tire than a track tire. I have never used the Cooper Zeons but I am actually running Nexens on the back of our Trans Am when it goes on the street and they aren't too bad...plus they were cheap haha....good luck with your search!...oh and those Nexens went 11.93@118....i was surprised that they hooked haha

I had Nittos for years. They hook ok with pressure around 20 on a good track. I just noticed you want 25 - 30k out of the tires... You can forget that with any drag tire. On the other hand, they are about half the cost of a good Z rated tire.

Nittos 555 because I have them; they hook on the juice and it seemed great in the rain. I say so because I had a ride after a storm and it was the best hooking tire in the rain( I never punch it on wet pavement but I tested the tires a bit to see what the traction looked like).

They look killer to IMO.

No exp with the other brand in the pool.

I can suggest BF Goodrich g force sport/ AvonTech M500 for the same reason.

Goodyear GS-D3 is the best tire I have ever owned for an F-body (14 years worth of ownership). Incredible in the rain and should last 20,000 miles easy if not punched constantly. Make sure you rotate every 7500 miles.

Invo's are well reviewed, good in all aspects but high priced.
NT555's are what I use, and they are pretty good, haven't tried them with the new tc yet, might run into traction issues.
NT05's look as though they will be terrible in the rain.
I've only researched nitto's so...
