Default Grinding calipers for 15" Pro Stars

I'm done with the front calipers, but I'm starting to wonder about the rear ones. I've been grinding the hell out of the first one for quite a while, but I see no end in sight. I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance to keep on grinding and I'll eventually get there. Any tips or advice? Thanks.

Oh, the wheels are 15x8.

Stop! dont' grind on the rears -you'll ruin the calipers- there's something wrong with your setup.

JK -keep going- you'll be fine.

If you can - check out someones car that has had the calipers ground on them. It helps to get a visual of where you need to be. Also, another trick is to use some grease on the caliper, then mount the wheel spin it around and where it takes the grease off is where you need to do some more grinding.

I spent quite some time grinding mine, you'll get there eventually.

I'm going to need to be grinding mine soon, so do you just grind off that high spot in the middle of the front part of the caliper?

Yeah, but I didn't have to grind it all of the way down. And I had to take quite a bit off of the curve where it goes from the "face" of the caliper to the top. I also had to take a little off of the bracket that actually holds the pads (where it gets close to the wheel studs).

Are you using any kind of spacer with your wheels?

The "curve' is where most of the grinding occurrs.

I have no spacers in back and stock brakes back there.

No, I've already ground the front calipers down enough to where they fit without spacers.

No, I've got skinnies on the front. I got that done fairly quickly. The rears apparently just take a bit more grinding.

You have to go pretty well into the brackets on each end also, it took me like 3 hours to do the 1st rear one - taking the wheel on and off takes most of the time.. i dont want to be doing it again anytime soon..
