FINALLY!!!!

I can't tell you how many times I have swiped a pic of these wheels on some one's car and added this to them in photoshop. This changes the whole look of the wheel and for the better. Great job!!

These aluminum center caps I built will bolt to my wheels from the back side, I did this because it was easier than designing a clip and I only planned on making one set of these. If I were to make these in volume I would make them snap in like the original ones did.

I will do some looking to incorporate a spring steel clip in these so they would snap in and see what I can do for a short production run.

Thanks again for all the compliments!

Thanks guys. I will do my best in the next few weeks to get some extra time and see what I can do. I would love to make some but lately getting the extra time is the hard part.

Very nice! I am actually working on the same thing right now for a class project. I have the centercap and fixtures modeled in Mastercam, all I have left is to cut it out.

Yours turned out great though.

Also, for any Camaro owners that would rather have a bowtie or "SS" on their caps instead of the vette flags, 10 spoke center caps work also. I have the red bowtie 10 spoke caps on my wheels

wow those are gorgeous. i'd for sure buy a set either blank or "Z28", and i don't even have a set of OE wheels. but it is in my future to pick up a set as a secondary option.

You should sell the mold to OE Wheels and let them fabricate it whilst you net like 1% of all their sales.

I haven't taken any pics of the mounting holes yet. The mounting holes are only going to be used on my wheels, any other center caps I make will have a retention tab like the original caps did.

Jakson, That is a big project to take on in shop class (just thinking back to the little shop projects I did in school). Not sure what you have for previous machining skill but should be a great learning project for sure. Hope yours turn out well! Be sure to post up pics when your done.

I'm not sure how that would work being its their wheel design. I really don't have any legal rights to the design of the center cap I just made.

Well don't go telling people that, now they can just rip off your design.
I was kidding anyway, but if you get the time you could probably make some dollars selling these.
