Skinniest I've gone is a 225/50/16 on the front. I'm not sure how much skinnier that 215 would be... but mine didn't look like they were stretching very much, so you probably could.

Tires are something you shouldn't cheap out on, especially on a performance vehicle.

the stock 245/50x16 can't be that expensive anymore, but a 225/55x16 would be the smallest i'd use on an 8" rim...

I used a 215/55/16 only because the price wa good. $80 for both.

Yea yea. My friends bashed on me for going that big.
I had 215/55/16s up front and 295/50/16 out back.
I thought it looked cool. I got alot pf compliment from them.
It looked like I had skinnies and bigs. =]
but back to 245/50/16 for me. =]

Its a BF Goodrich Radial TA
295/50/16. That tire is made to fit a 8-10 inch wheel.
