Cars definitely look a lot better when the wheel/tire combo is not sucked into the wheel well!

For the guys who posted pics of their cars, what size wheel / tires are you running. I know wheel width would make a difference. Im trying to order my wheels ASAP, the rear end is in and the car doesnt like the 3" wheel adapters in the rear. thanks!

I have 18x10.5" with a +56mm, and a 1/2" spacer, which brings it to about a +44mm offset. They're pretty much flush with the front of the fenders....at least to the point that I think they should be.

These are the wheels I will be getting but with a brushed aluminum face with polished lip. They will be going on a 3" narrowed per side rear end!

My paint isn't to fresh so I will end up going with a custom color too 
OMG please post pics when you get them. Ive been wanting a set of DPEs forever, the same ones you pictured.. But being a college student working in a grocery store....well thats just not gonna happen any time soon.

I will definitely be posting a lot of pictures!
So today I measured my current Z06 wheels, as I never knew what the specs were.
I came up with these dimensions/specs, please let me know if this sounds correct:
Front: 18x10" w/ 58mm offset
Rear: 18x11" w/ 57mm offset
I took a protractor along with a level to try and mock up and visualize what offset I would like ( close to flush with top of fender but not sticking out of the wheel well).

I "think" this is what I want:
Front: 19x10" w/ 44mm offset
Rear: 19x11" w/ 45mm offset, but since my rear is narrowed 3" per side it would be 45mm- 3"(25.4mm)= -31mm offset.

Tires I plan to run:
Front: 285/30/19
Rear: 305/30/19
Anyone know if there will be clearance problems with the 285 on the front with a 19x10" wheel? I currently have 275 on a 18x10" and never had any type of rubbing.

Any input on these final specifications would be nice, even if its a "NO THAT WONT WORK!"
thanks!

Having seen about 1,000,000 of your posts inquiry on wheel spacing it sounds like you're getting close...but -31mm ! If I were you I would at least consider a 1 1/2" spacer and get closer to 0mm. Not to mention that ENORMOUS lip would look a little stupid....ok, a lot. Either way, good luck.

What does DPE say?

Have you looked at this?

Yes, I have seen that sketch, but as everyone knows each car is different and its kind of difficult to imagine those sizes on a car. Also the tire bead lip varies in width depending on wheel manufacturer. So dishing out this kind of money, I want to make sure it looks exactly how I want it to. Why would I get a spacer when I narrowed my rear end for the reason of being able to run a wide lip? To each their own, its my car not yours lol. And thanks for the luck.

I'm running 10.5" on all four. The rear tires are 315s, and the offset is +56mm.

LPE 403,

I think you need to actually read his posts and you'll see that he stated he's running a narrowed rear on his car (3" per side), so the -31mm offset is correct for his application.

Just FYI . . . your wheels are 18" x 9.5" and 18" x 10.5" . . . the wheel width is measured from the insides of the wheel beads, not to the outside . . .

I've read them...ALL of them, lol. I've done the math, actually pointed those measurements to him in one of his earlier posts. I've seen the 3" narrow look in my opinion it looks like ***, but as I said in my post I wished "good luck"....and I get the finger

01Blk SS - You're not the only one who's ever spent a few bucks on wheels and probably not the last. I understand wanting things right, you're going for "a look" and I can certainly appreciate it...but get over yourself. You've been posting for months asking the same question worrying about mm's.... only to end up with what you would have ended up with if you took it upon yourself to simply did the stack up. As I said earlier, not my favorite look (stupid probably harsh) but hey, its your ride...GOOD LUCK.

Just looking at your photo, I'm gonna guess you're running a corvette fitment? 20mm is a good baseline for that IMO

You positive? I purchased these wheels from TomzWheels in 2005. I measured from the outer edge to outer edge and they were 10.5 and 11.5. So I measured again and tried to imagine where the bead would mount and got the 10/11 combo.....
For some reason, I remember them being for vettes. Am I wrong on the offsets too?
