DMNSPD - Hey thats my picture ! But yea I love how 18's look on our cars and wouldn't go any differnent. 17's still look good (I used to own 17inch TT2's), but I wanted the 18's over 17's so sold those and got these

I'm obviously biased towards the chrome ZR1's, which would be my choice. IMO, the only way Z06's look good is if they are 18's and/or the car is slammed.
Here's a pic, more in sig.

Chrome zo6 wheels, 18X10.5 w/a 53MM offset for the rears and 18x9.5 w/a 50 mm offset for the fronts these are the wheels that will be going on my 2002 black z, Ive been waiting for these wheels for almost 2 months now, there on national back order. If your going with the zo6 wheels go with these offsets. ordered these wheels through t-byrne, pretty decent prices.

I looked at maintenance issues as well. The ZR1s clean up much faster than the old 10 spoke stock rims that I had (fewer nooks and crannies). The Z06 Rims look like they would be harder to keep clean. And you can see a lot more of the rotor area- gotta keep those clean or it ruins the whole effect. Just a thought.

I vote for the 18" Z06's. When i get my T/A or Camaro , whatever i buy this March. I will be looking to put them on it. I think they look pimp.

Would the 53mm offset have the dished lip?

well... that's a bit more 'wild' than what i'm planning. I just want to drop it with the prokit, get a harwood cowl (that small 2" one), and a 96/97 SS wing. I'm thinking the 18's might be more of what i'm wanting after looking at all the pics. We'll see... Todd is going to have another PM...
